Alex Gibson

Alex Gibson is a New York City-based performer who recently made his Broadway debut in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 at the Imperial Theater.


Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Alex attended New York University where he was a member of the inaugural class of the Tisch School of the Arts’ New Studio on Broadway. He is also a graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade’s Improv Training Program.


In addition to improv, voice over, and other actor-y things, Alex is a writer; his short musicals, songs, and sketches have been performed at various venues around NYC including 54 Below, La MaMa ETC, and Tisch.

Michael Campayno

Made his Broadway debut in Wicked in August 2016. A Pittsburgh native and recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, he made his television debut as Rolf in NBC’s live telecast of The Sound of Music starring Carrie Underwood, and can be heard on the cast recording.


His stage credits include university productions and productions at Pittsburgh CLO, and he played Lancelot opposite Robert Sean Leonard in Camelot. Film: Cheerleader.

Natalie Weiss

This past fall, Natalie did prerecords for the upcoming Hugh Jackman movie musical, The Greatest Showman, based on the life of P.T. Barnum, with original music by Pasek and Paul. She can also be heard in the ensemble on the Original Broadway Cast recording of Dear Evan Hansen.


In 2015, she played Candy in the U.S. premiere of the new version of Saturday Night Fever at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival. In August 2013, she completed a 2 1/2 year run swinging the national tour of Les Miserables. Back In 2010, she made her Broadway debut understudying the Menonettes in Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott. She also performed in the ensemble and understudied Elphaba in the 2nd national tour of Wicked.


Natalie is well known for her Youtube videos. She has gained an international following from her performance videos & popular web series, "Breaking Down The Riffs", which have collectively reached over 3 million views.

Sophia Angelica

Broadway Tonight! Up-and-Coming performer, Sophia Angelica is a singer-songwriter, actress, creative writer, and journalist. She began acting classes at the age of 7 yrs. within her mother’s acting school, Rybin Studio of Drama.


Sophia has been a special guest artist since 2011 for the “We are You” Project for the Latino Center on Aging, in the Golden Age Awards Banquet at the Intercontinental Barclay Hotel. Subsequently she was invited as a guest to sing the “We are You” song on July 4th, 2011 in “Good Day New York” FOX TV. In addition, Sophia has sung her original inspirational songs at the United Nations in events such as the reception of the Women’s Empowerment Conference, the 11th and 12th Annual Youth Conferences, and a Human Rights Summit.


Currently, Sophia is pursuing a journalism career at 18 years old in conjunction with her passion for singing and songwriting. She has been writing for Impacto Latin News, focusing on the Latino community, being from Argentinean descent, for the past couple of months and continues learning about her craft at Rutgers University, where she is majoring in journalism and media studies.

Rema Webb

Rema Webb recently appeared in Broadway's The Color Purple as Church Lady Darlene and as the Shug Avery understudy.  She also starred as the homeless woman in A New Brain at Encores! Off-Center.  Rema was featured as Lula Buffington in the Broadway revival of Violet and performed on the 2014 Tony Awards. Other Broadway credits include The Lion King (Rafiki/Shenzi/Nala), The Book of Mormon (Mrs. Brown) and Ragtime (Sarah u/s).


Rema made her solo concert debut with her one-woman show, Children Will Listen, at 54 Below and recently had an encore performance of the show at 42 West. Finally, she is the founder/executive director of the On Broadway Performing Arts Training Program.

Leanne Smith

Leanne was born in Lanoka Harbor NJ. In High School she joined,choir, softball, show choir, always found a way to fit in plays, and did cheerleading freshman year. After High School, she moved to the city for college at AMDA NY


Since graduating, she is working and based out of New York City. She has been told she is the love child of Megan Hilty and Laura Osnes....and she is more than okay with that.

Brian Binion

Brian Binion is an Atlanta native, pursuing his dreams in New York City. After receiving a Bachelors degree in Contemporary Dance Performance from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts, he has had the opportunity to dance on stages across the world - Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Italy to name a few. 


Brian is currently a cast member of Disney's The Lion King on Broadway where you can watch he and the cast perform 8 nights a week.

Joshua Morgan

Joshua graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Judith Blazer’s 2005/2007 company of the Artist’s Crossing. A diverse singing, actor, a few of Joshua’s performance credits include roles in The Trojan Women, Godspell, Burn This, Comedy of Errors, Children of Eden, Othello, Show Boat, Sunday in the Park with George, The Chosen, Sweeney Todd..., The Laramie Project, and Les Miserables to name a few.


Most recently he closed the most recent Broadway revival of Les Miserables having moved from Washington, DC to join the company. Haley joins BROADWAY Tonight! for the second time!


Haley appeared in Jekyll and Hyde on Broadway, Secret Garden at Lincoln Center, and on the national tours of White Christmas, Jesus Christ Superstar and I Love a Piano. She also appeared in off-Broadway hit, Sistas. Other recent credits include Lady of the Lake in Spamalot at NSMT, Nellie in South Pacific at WBT, and Grace in Annie with Sally Struthers at TOTS.


Haley has sung at Carnegie Hall alongside jazz great Steve Tyrell, with Ronan Tynan at Yankee Stadium, and under the baton of Steve Reineke with the New York Pops Orchestra. Haley's solo show, "Play to Win," recently sold out Broadway's 54 Below and will be returning regularly.

John Jeffrey Martin

John Jeffrey Martin has been an equity member since 2000, when he made his broadway debut in the Rocky Horror Show Live! Working on and off Broadway for 17 years, also participated in Broadway’s Hairspray, Good Vibrations, and starred in the national tour of High School Musical, as Troy.


Currently in Kinky Boots on Broadway (an original cast member too!). Jeff is also a painter and songwriter and is working on producing his first short film. To top it all off, Jeff is the grandson of one of the greatest crooners of the big band era, Johnny Desmond.

David Hughey

Our "Up & Comer" this week, Zachary Freier-Harrison, graduated last year from Northwestern, where he studied Musical Theater and Cognitive Science. Ruby just finished a year-long run on Broadway as the leading lady in Cirque du Soleil's first Broadway spectacle Paramour

Derek Adams

2017 marks Derek Adams's return to NYC after headlining on the Las Vegas strip! He helped keep the glitz and glamour of classic Vegas alive, in Vegas! The Show at the Planet Hollywood Casino.

Nicole is thrilled to back on stage with her old college friend Jelani as part of the Broadway Tonightperformance! 

Nicole is a professional singer who performs throughout  the tristate area with many professional musicians and bands. She began her career in musical theater, but after becoming a wife and mom, has truly found her niche in event entertainment and production. She had truly found a love for all genres through her work over the past 6 years.

You can see her mostly with her wedding and event band, Uptown Sound, her acoustic group, Something Borrowed, as well as many charity groups within her community.

Jade Zaroff recently graduated from Emerson College with a BA Theatre Studies: Acting degree and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Living an organic lifestyle and singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” before she could speak, Jade has been a passionate environmentalist, innovator and artist since birth. She is currently a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Candidacy Program and is still consistently involved with musical theatre, voice, film and new works.

At Emerson, Jade created and produced an event that now runs annually at the college called the "Emerson Green Gala," celebrating Earth day through art. As the next chapter of her vision, Jade has founded a nonprofit organization called "Entertainment for Change".

She has been writing for Impacto Latin News, focusing on the Latino community, being from Argentinean descent, for the past couple of months and continues learning about her craft at Rutgers University, where she is majoring in journalism and media studies.

Chondra Profit

In her 7th year at The Lion King, Chondra was born to sing. As a toddler, while watching her mother direct stage plays, Chondra La-Tease Profit, fell in love with the arts. That love increased and was further nurtured as she attended The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SDSCPA). She has since pursued her passion of theatre while studying and receiving a BFA from The American Music of Dramatic Academy of the Arts (AMDA).

Her love of the stage and the arts has led her to her more recent passion of teaching and being apart of the advancement and development of youth. She has been The Director of Operations for many teen programs all over the world. Be-YOU-Tiful Foundation(which promotes young ladies to just BE-YOU) Runway Rhythms( which teaches the core fundamentals of modeling, etiquette and public speaking) TAA (Talent Award Association) (which helps youth recognize their talents and how to take them to its highest level). Just to name a few.

Chondra continues to pursue her passion of theatre and teaching and aspires to some day inspire the same way so many of her inspirations and role models did her.

Haley Swindal

Haley appeared in Jekyll and Hyde on Broadway, Secret Garden at Lincoln Center, and on the national tours of White Christmas, Jesus Christ Superstar and I Love a Piano. Other recent credits include Lady of the Lake in Spamalot at NSMT, Nellie in South Pacific at WBT, and Grace in Annie with Sally Struthers at TOTS.

Haley has sung at Carnegie Hall alongside jazz great Steve Tyrell, with Ronan Tynan at Yankee Stadium, and under the baton of Steve Reineke with the New York Pops Orchestra.

Haley's solo show, "Play to Win," recently sold out Broadway's 54 Below and will be returning with a new show May 30th and June 6th of this year!

Tyce Green is an actor and singer based in New York City. Tyce was cast in the New York City premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Whistle Down the Wind. He is known for his engagement at the popular New York cabaret Feinstein’s/ 54 Below, for which BroadwayWorld hailed, “his rock belting and keen use of head voice leaves the audience whooping, hollering, and applauding his inspired performance."

As an actor, Tyce made his NYC stage debut Off-Broadway in Kissless. Since then he has appeared in: Spring Awakening, Hands on a Hardbody, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Ragtime, The Sound of Music, and more. In film, Tyce starred as Billy in Horrible Turn, a prequel to Dr. Horrible with Neil Patrick Harris.

Samantha Duval is originally from Southern California. Samantha’s most recent credits include Pattie in Smokey Joe’s Cafe at Merry Go Round Playhouse and an immersive new work Accomplice at La Jolla Playhouse. Samantha has had the honor to recently create lead roles in workshops and productions of 2 new shows, Hollywood Cowboy and Guest of Honor: The Story of Scott Joplin.

Jelani Remy

Born in Cedar Grove NJ. After graduating from Montclair State University, Jelani toured the country in High School Musical and High School Musical 2 and played Simba in the Las Vegas and touring productions of The Lion King.

Jelani debuted on Broadway in 2016 as Simba in The Lion King and continues in that role today.

Melvin Tunstall III

An accomplished musical star, Melvin has performed in many US regional shows, across Europe and on Broadway. He has been part of the smash success, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical since its premiere in 2014.

Next to his continued presence in Beautiful, Melvin is a writer and has written the book for the TYA phenomenon Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical and is hard at work on two new musicals set to premiere in 2018.

Jesse has appeared as "Link Larkin" in Hairspray and "Ralph Rackstraw" in H.M.S Pinafore. Other credits include performing in the NYC Frigid Festival for new works of musical theatre, as well as appearing across the country in such shows as LES MISERABLES ("Enjolras"), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat ("Joseph"), and A Murder, A Mystery & A Marriage ("Hugh Gregory").

Bailey Purvis

Bailey’s featured credits include the National Tours of Bring It On (Skylar) and Mamma Mia! (Tanya) both directed by their original Broadway creative teams, Legally Blonde with Norwegian Cruise Lines, Le Petit Theatre, Ocean Theatre Company, Manship Theatre, and recently starred as the title role in a developmental production of the new musical Evangeline in her home state of Louisiana.

Training: The Boston Conservatory. She’s a southern girl through and through, and also a yoga instructor.

Sophia Santore

  Sophia Santore is a Graduate Student and Adjunct Instructor of Voice pursuing a dual degree in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy at NYU Steinhardt. Before NYU, Sophia studied Music and Business at Duke University (Class of 2016).

Favorite roles include: Vivienne, Legally Blonde; Schwartzy, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee; Eileen, Wonderful Town; and Millie, Thoroughly Modern Millie.   

Katie Azzario-Lacey

Katie Azzario-Lacey is part of a famous Spanish circus family, she is the eighth generation.

Katie grew up a performer and only later began developing her singing talent.
Her parents are professional circus clowns, mum Giulia is British and father Jose is from Spain. Her parents home schooled her and she is fluent in six languages.

Janice Messitte

Janice is a  seasoned  Entertainer who hails from NYC, has performed at some of  New York prestigious comedy clubs, and Off Broadway.
Janice is a respected veteran comedienne of  New York, L.A. and an accomplished singer.

The magic of Messitte is her G-D given ability to take the stage and break down all lines of race and gender, with her unique sense of humor, which appeals to a wide and diversified audience!

Chris Myers

Classically trained, Chris was signed into an opera company at the age of 9, touring with Amahl and the Night Visitors as Amahl. By 12, he performed in the Broadway tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He would go on to be recruited for the Purdue University Varsity Glee Club that performed over 150 times a year. After his freshman year he signed his first record deal with Sony Music/Epic Records (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria). As a member of the boy band Fource, Chris toured 13 countries and performed for millions on national television shows throughout Europe. The group had two certified Gold Records and a compilation album selling six-times Platinum. Chris returned to Purdue, finishing undergrad, and recently graduated from NYU with a Masters in Graphic Communications Management and Technology.Currently Innovation & Creative Specialist at ABC/PEEQ Imaging, based in NYC.

Melvin Tunstall, III

North Carolina native Melvin Tunstall made his Broadway debut in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at the Sondheim Theater and has been performing with the show for over 1200 performances!  Before taking Broadway, he appeared in the European Tour of the Tony Award winning hit musical Ain’t Misbehavin! Prior to joining the company, Melvin originated the role of “Ja’Keith” in the Original Toronto Company of the Broadway smash Rock of Ages.

A graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Melvin first blast on the New York theatre scene as a college senior in the Off Broadway revue What You’d Call A Dream. He landed roles in productions at Regional theatres and performed in shows from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, to Smokey Joe’s Café, to Peter Pan, just to name a few.

Cecilia Eve

Cecilia Eve is a Canadian/American singer-songwriter who grew up enveloped by the French classic tunes of Edit Piaf and Jacques Brel. At age 12, she moved to the USA and quickly fell in love with the sounds of American jazz, blues, and soul.

Cecilia has been singing for over 20 years, growing up in the choir, singing her heart out in musicals, and playing trumpet in jazz bands which were all a big part of forming her present day sound. After graduating from the San Francisco School of the Arts high school (SOTA),
